Avoid direct orders on the website

Unfortunately I received a slightly damaged lamp that I want to return and exchange for a new one. Customer care responds slowly and does not take immediate action. I have been waiting for a return form for almost a week now so that I can return the lamp and receive a new one. My advice: do not order Flos articles directly from their website, but from a webshop/dealer.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. Cheep brand that overprices the lamps. I purschase a lamp for 5000 sek and didnt even get the screws.

When u contact them they dont even answer. I share the same story as many people below. Unforthunaly its all a scam.

No Customer Service. Lack of Assistance for a 440 euro Lamp

A Terrible experience with the Customer Service of this brand. How can brand that says that is international and luxurious can act like this? I'm their client for more than 8 years and since 2 weeks I'm writing the Customer Service and no reply at all! LACK OF ASSISTANCE AND RESPECT. Just have a problem with my TAB F Black that spontaneously cracked on the axis. Its clearly a casted problem considering that the aluminum is ultra thin. Sent all the report with pictures to them and no reply. The quality is horrible.
AVOID FLOS!

Terrible service - shocking

Missing part of our lamp upon delivery. Albeit we informed the company of this later as we only opened the packages a while later, 6 weeks on and we still don’t have any resolution from them as to when we’ll receive the missing part. Nor will they provide us with a refund.
Customer service give no information, no service, and no desire to fix the situation. We have to chase to get any further.

Shockingly bad response to faulty lamp

Shockingly bad response to faulty lamp. Bought lamp from online retailer Utility after a couple of weeks the power to the lamp failed on investigation is is an intermittent fault with the plug fiddling with the plug connected and disconnected the power to the lamp. I sent a video of this intermittent fault. Response was
"I need to clarify that if the fitting after inspection found faulty and that can be fixed with spare parts, we will fix and return it to you. In case cannot be fixed with spare parts, we will replace it, credit is not an option.

If after inspection item found not faulty or that has been misused by your client, you will be charged for abortive labour £65.00 ex vat/ per hour plus the parts they will be used to resolve the issue and fitting will be returned to you".

So in response to proven fault I had to be without the lamp and they treated to charge me £65 an hour to fix!!! Bear in mind the lamp was only 2 weeks old. They claim to have a 2 year guarantee!!

Totally dissatisfied and the easiest way to fix is simply cut off the plug and replace with a standard UK 3 pin plug. The core problem is the stupid design of the plug which is an 'overplug' on a standard 2 pin european plug clearly the connections inside are faulty and to make matters worse the screw to open the pug has been modified to prevent the pug being opened to examine the connections.
My advice is don't be fooled by the attractive design the utility is poor and service atrocious.

Shocking

Shocking! Flos designs are gorgeous but how can they sustain a business with such awful lack of customer service? They have mastered the art of responding in a seemingly helpful way but blocking every request for assistance. They just trot out a tiny variation of a series of letters that get nowhere. Must be a road to hell for all concerned. What a way to conduct one’s precious life.

Ordered a Flos reading lamp.£365 uk

Ordered a Flos reading lamp.£365 uk. It took 6 weeks to arrive and sadly when opened it had missing pieces and was damaged with a piece snapped off. I have returned the item and asked for a refund but Flos will not refund until item received back with them even though their courier dhl have confirmed the item is en route back to them. I am bitterly disappointed with Flos and having worked in customer service all my life I would say theirs leaves a lot to be desired. I will not purchase from Flos again. Sadly having read other comments I’m not on my own.

Worst warranty support I've ever had.

Bought some ic s1 lamps.
One of them spontaneously cracked and formed a hole on the top. Tried to get in touch with their customer support and was asked to send an email.
One week after doing that I have received no response at all.
That's really substandard for a company dealing in high end products.

EDIT
I finally got in touch with Flos, they sent me back to the shop where I bought the lamp that immediately informed me that Flos had rejected the claim because they think I probably hit the lamp or something for it to break.
The lamp is suspended about 3 meters from the floor and clearly no one ever touched it since it was put up.
Flos ASSUMES this was my fault and doesn't take responsibility on their item being defective.

Please avoid this company like the plague. A company selling products at this price point should have both better quality and better customer support.
